About

Beki Bright is a London based textile designer and screen printer creating artist designed textiles for the home. Beki offers a range of cushions, lampshades, wallpaper and fabric by the metre all of which have been designed, screen printed and made in London.

Beki’s work celebrates the English countryside. Having grown up in rural Suffolk and spent more recent years living in Somerset, she draws inspiration for her designs from these surroundings and the landscapes that encompass them.  Her experiences of these spaces have led to a fascination with English folklore, county crafts, and rituals of the countryside all of which inform her work.

Beki screen prints her designs by hand and all soft furnishings are printed on a UK woven linen and cotton base cloth. A very small production chain means she oversees her designs from concept to completion. Her fabrics and wallpapers are printed to order to allow for minimal waste with any offcuts being repurposed into samples or used for packaging.

Beki was awarded ‘Best Surface Newcomer’ by Homes and Gardens in 2022  and has had her work featured in House and Garden, World of Interiors and Homes and Garden amongst other titles. Her collaborations and clients include Neptune, Daydress and Firmdale Hotels. She also works on bespoke design commissions.
